Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in AquaCulture, Environment and Society (EM JMD ACES) will give you a unique opportunity to study in the United Kingdom, Crete and France, as well as allowing you to gain the practical and theoretical skills needed for a successful career in aquaculture through industry-led research programmes and fieldwork.
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in AquaCulture, Environment and Society has been specifically designed to address the many major scientific, technological and social obstacles facing the sustainable development of the global aquaculture industry.
This full-time, 2 year course is specifically targeted at highly talented European and international students with a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in one of the fields of aquaculture, marine science, marine biology, biology, environmental or social sciences, who wish to advance their skills.
Successful graduates will receive a Joint Master degree from the University of the Highlands and Islands and the University of Crete and a Single Degree from the University of Nantes in line with national legislation.
In addition to these degree certificates, graduates will also receive a diploma supplement that outlines the nature of the course, curriculum and marking scheme. This will help employers and universities to understand your skills and achievements obtained during the Erasmus Plus Joint Master degree in AquaCulture, Environment and Society course.
To ensure transparency and the conversion of marks between institutions, the ACES Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
